Ingredients
- 1 small cabbage
- ¼ cup salted vegan butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cube “beef” alternative bouillon
- 1½ tablespoon tamari sauce
- ¼ teaspoon Jamaican curry seasoning
- (Optional) ⅛ teaspoon hot and spicy traditional jerk seasoning (add more if you like it hot)
Instructions
- Heat vegan butter and olive oil to medium heat.
- Wash and cut vegetables. Be sure to remove the center core of the cabbage as it is inedible.
- Once the pan is hot, add garlic and cabbage, stirring constantly.
- Add 1 cup water and the bouillon cube to a microwave safe container and heat for 10 seconds. Using a spoon, stir the mixture until the cube is completely dissolved in the water forming a broth.
- Add tamari, Jamaican curry seasoning, and jerk seasoning if using, to the broth.
- Pour broth over the cabbage and stir to evenly incorporate the flavors.
- Reduce heat and allow to cook for 15 minutes, covered.
- Remove pan from heat and top with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
